How I Measure Success

My greatest achievements are not measured by money, possessions, titles, or recognition. When I look back over my life, three blessings stand above all others:

My salvation, my spouse, and the privilege of fathering our three children.

These are the treasures that have given my life its deepest meaning.

1. My Greatest Achievement: Salvation

A. Coming to Know Jesus Christ

B. A Life Changed by Grace

C. My Eternal Hope

Of everything I have received in life, nothing compares with the gift of salvation.

Suggested Scripture:

“For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith.”
— Ephesians 2:8

2. One of My Greatest Blessings: My Spouse

A. Companion for Life’s Journey

B. Love Built Through the Years

C. A Gift from God

Some of life’s greatest achievements are not things we accomplish alone, but the relationships we faithfully nurture.

Suggested Scripture:

“Two are better than one.”
— Ecclesiastes 4:9

3. The Privilege of Fathering Our Three Children

A. The Gift of Parenthood

B. Teaching and Guiding

C. Learning Through Fatherhood

D. Watching Them Grow

I may not have been a perfect father, but fathering our three children has been one of the greatest privileges and achievements of my life.

Suggested Scripture:

“Children are a heritage from the Lord.”
— Psalm 127:3

The Achievements That Matter Most

When life is measured by eternity, our greatest achievements may not be the things the world applauds.

My greatest achievement is receiving the salvation God freely offered me through Jesus Christ.

One of my greatest blessings is sharing life with my spouse.

And one of my greatest privileges is fathering our three children.

These are the treasures I value most.

When everything else fades, I believe these are the things that will still matter:

Faith. Love. Family.

And for these, I am deeply thankful to God.
